The Highlands Point Association Board of Directors requests that you
review and adopt the following policy as your commitment to the safety of,
and respect for all residents and visitors.*
- Dogs must be on a leash at all times (Town Ordinance / Safety)
(exception) … dogs may be unleashed to swim at the HPA launch ramp, not
off docks. Dog Control Ordinance - Dogs must not be allowed on the swim docks (Safety)
- Do not take glass containers onto the swim docks (Safety)
- Pick up after your pets (Town Ordinance / Respect)
- Remove your trash from common areas: Take out what you bring in.
(Respect) - Observe community quiet hours: 10:00pm to 7:00am. (Town Ordinance /
Respect) Disorderly House Ordinance - Restrict campfires to small carefully contained areas. Fire permit required.
Maintain safety measures as described within fire permit. (Safety / Respect) - If you present to prospective renters that our boat dock is available for
their use, you must lease a slip to assure there is space available. (Respect /
Safety) - No hunting in the community confines. (Safety)
- Any use of fireworks must comply with Bridgton ordinances and
community policy. (Town Ordinance / Safety / Respect)
Consumer Fireworks Ordinance - No fireworks are allowed on the docks at any time (Safety / Respect)
- All resident and visitor activities must comply with HPA covenants (Safety /
Respect)

some other means provide your rental clients with this policy.
